Amina Ahmad is a developing social worker and an Advanced Standing MSW candidate at Stony Brook University. Amina brings extensive experience in group facilitation and community-based support to Root Salve Wellness. As a Strategic Educator in the Aspires Program, she has mastered the art of facilitating discussion groups and teaching social and executive functioning skills in both one-on-one and group settings. Her background as a Life Enrichment Coordinator further highlights her ability to implement creative programming and develop new ideas to meet the diverse social, spiritual, and psychological needs of those she serves.


With a professional history that spans supporting college students through the Undergraduate Social Welfare Alliance (USWA) to working with children and seniors, Amina is a versatile communicator skilled in building trust-based relationships. She is passionate about creating environments that foster inner work, self-reflection, and collective healing. At Root Salve Wellness, Amina is dedicated to developing wellness workshops that empower participants to use their voices and prioritize their personal growth and healing journey.
